Winter Rose Apothecary

Tinkering away in my Apothecary (I had a bricks and mortar store on Gheringhap street in 2016/2017 but now do it from home) is one of my happy places. Becoming a Herbalist to prescribe natural remedies to support those that come to me, along side my other skills is definitely my point of difference.

 

Winter Rose Apothecary was first named White Witch Botanicals in 2016 creating health products, to support your everyday needs. It has always been a side business to North of the Hill but will eventually be the main thing!

Changing the name feels refreshing. As I hold Rose Ceremonies and believe in the power of the Rose along with the fact I was born in Winter I felt connected to the name.  The Winter Rose is also know as the Glastonbury Rose - A little white flower that grows in Northern Europe during winter. It brings me close to my Avalon roots. It blooms through the coldest days and survives. Which is symbolic to my personal journey. That even through the darkness and tough times I embody the Winter Rose strength, feel through the darkness to the Light!

The Winter Rose is connected to the Priestess path - the Rose Lineage, where I have studied deeply into this and the connection to the Unconditional Love of Mary Magdalene and the deep connection to the planet Venus - The Divine Feminine.

 

The Rose also represents Divine Union between our own Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine within ourselves and relationships. The Roses softness and naturally fragrant petals represent the deepness of Compassion, Clarity/Oracle, Nurture and is held by the sturdy stem with its thorns which symbolizes the Protection, the Action, the Holder, Safety and Strength of the Masculine. Together they are the balance of Unconditional Love.

I believe in the power of nature. Mother nature has provided us with all of earths gifts, why would we need anything else, right?

I started creating these products just for our own everyday use and thought, why not bring it to the world.

​

I am a certified Masteress Herbalist creating products to support all body systems but also specializing in feminine cycle products.

​

Every item is made with love and the purest therapeutic grade essential oils, tinctures, dry and fresh herbs, and all natural ingredients. No Nasties, Toxin Free, Cruelty Free, tested on ourselves and Vegan. Made in Victoria, Australia.

Our products are made into amber or frosted bottles, which protect the ingredients to keep them at therapeutic grade. We use post consumer recycled kraft labels with Vegetable ink.

 

All the products are designed to be used a little bit, so they will last you a while. All products must be stored in a cool place. Avoid heat or direct sunlight to prolong the life of these products.
